My godmother, Auntie Lynne, sadly passed away on 28th April 2024. She was very important to me and I will be running the Great North Run in her memory.

I have chosen to raise money for Cats Protection, a charity that Lynne volunteered for throughout her life.

I was able to tell Lynne that I'd be running the Great North Run before she passed away, and she was thrilled that I would be fundraising for a charity so close to her heart.

Cats Protection help more cats than any other organisation and we want to help millions more. We are a dedicated community of passionate employees, volunteers, supporters and partners, working together to make life better for millions of cats and the people who care for them.

We are the voice of cats in society and we speak up for their protection.
