Alzhiemers Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.

I have a close family member who has recently been diagnosed with early onset dementia and i have seen first hand how cruel this disease can be.

On June 8th myself and three friends will take part in the South Devon Trek26 to help raise awareness and funds for the charity. We will set off at 6am and walk for 26 miles along the rugged Devon coastline. My family member with dementia has walked several marathons for charity in the past and so I felt this was the right challenge to participate in.

It’s my first go fund me event, not to mention the first time I’ve ever walked over 10k, so please join me in supporting this wonderful charity. Every donation will be so greatly appreciated.
