On Sunday 23rd August, I’ll be taking on a Wing Walk to raise vital funds for Thornberry Animal Sanctuary.

I’m no stranger to adrenaline-fueled challenges — having previously completed abseils and a skydive in support of The Children’s Hospital Charity — but this will be my first time standing on the wing of a plane as it takes to the skies! I love a challenge, especially when it’s for a cause that means so much to me.

As Community Fundraising Manager at Thornberry, I see first-hand the incredible work the team does every day to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. Taking on this Wing Walk is my way of giving something back and helping to raise much-needed funds to support that work.

Every donation, big or small, will help provide food, shelter, medical care, and second chances for the animals in Thornberry’s care.
