Fundraising for Tommy’s, the pregnancy and baby charity
I’m fundraising for Tommy’s who provide expert advice and fund pioneering research to prevent stillbirth, miscarriage and premature birth. Your sponsorship allows Tommy’s to continue their vital work – in short you’re helping save babies' lives.
Please give generously, your support means the world to me.
In Memory of Alice Clara Ross who was born sleeping on 21st June 2023
For Alice's 1st birthday, Adrian and some friends and family plan to complete the Three Peaks Challenge, this involves climbing the three tallest peaks of England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis), and Wales (Snowdon). The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft). The walk will take place on the 7th June with us travelling between each peak across the UK. This will mean it will take approximately 24 hours from the start of Ben Nevis to the completion of Snowdon including walking and travelling times.
We plan to raise £1000 in Alice's memory, any money raised will be donated in Alice's name to Tommy’s. We were fortunate to meet Professor Heazell, from Tommy's Manchester, who explained our results following Alice's birth. He completes vital research in to the placenta and stillbirths and looks after families following stillbirths and in future pregnancies in his Rainbow Clinic. He does not discriminate depending on post code and people can be referred to him regardless of location.
Let's save babies lives and other families from going through the same heart break of baby loss. In Alice's name, Forever Our Brightest Star.
