Story
This autumn, ahead of starting school, Lyra will be having her first haircut 💇♀️
As you'll know, she was born with hair and it's now remarkably long (strong hair genes from her mum!)
So we thought do something meaningful with it, rather than it just ending up on the salon floor.
After speaking with her about other children who sometimes lose their own hair, she wanted to do the kind thing and help them by giving them her hair.
She said:
Some little girls are poorly and don't have any hair, and I have lots and lots, so I'm going to give them some!
About The Little Princess Trust

As well as donations of hair itself, the charity also welcomes financial donations to help fund the £700 of specialist work of turning the hair into high quality wigs.
