Lytchett Matravers Santa Sleigh Run - Raising Funds for Dorset Cancer Care Foundation

For the first time, Coach House Fitness is proudly taking the reins of our village’s much-loved Santa Sleigh Run, a tradition enjoyed by Lytchett Matravers for more than a decade.

This year, we’re supporting a fantastic local cause:

Dorset Cancer Care Foundation (DCCF)

This charity provides vital support and financial assistance to individuals and families across Dorset who are living with cancer. Their work directly benefits people in our own communities — which is why we’re honoured to support them.

🎄 About the Sleigh Run

On Thursday 18th December (with Friday 19th as a weather fallback), Santa will be touring the village from 6:00pm, joined by a small team of volunteer elves from Coach House Fitness.

We’ll visit as many streets as possible, spreading Christmas cheer and collecting donations — both doorstep and online.

Over the past months, we’ve restored the sleigh with a fresh traditional red paint job and festive decorations, and we’re excited to bring it back to life for 2025 and the years ahead.
