Story
We are raising funds to support Yorkshire Dales Wildlife Rescue at a critical time, as the future of their premises is currently at risk. As the only wildlife rescue service covering this part of North Yorkshire, their work is invaluable - not just locally, but across Yorkshire, Lancashire, and Cumbria. They provide essential care for injured and vulnerable wildlife while also supporting the communities around them, making them a vital part of regional conservation efforts.
Wildlife conservation has never been more important. The UK is now recognised as one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world, with dramatic declines in species and habitats. Protecting wildlife isn’t just about saving animals it’s about safeguarding the ecosystems that sustain life, restoring what has been lost, and preventing further irreversible damage for future generations.
To help make a difference, we are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on Monday 18th May. Our walk will begin and end at Yorkshire Dales Wildlife Rescue in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, the traditional starting point of the route, making this challenge even more meaningful as we support a cause at the heart of the landscape we’ll be crossing.
Every donation, big or small, will help ensure this vital rescue can continue its incredible work. Thank you for your support.
