Islamic Relief is an international relief and development charity that aims to alleviate the suffering of the world's poorest people. As well as responding to disasters and emergencies, it promotes sustainable economic and social development by working with local communities - regardless of race, religion or gender.

Story

I’m running my first ever marathon with Pana Run Club, and I’m honestly so grateful to have been selected.

I’m not the most experienced runner, but the London Marathon has always been a long held goal of mine, and this felt like the right time to take the leap.

I wanted this challenge to mean something beyond the run itself. With everything happening in the world, I’m using this marathon to support families affected by the ongoing crises in Sudan and Palestine.

Donations raised will support Islamic Relief UK’s ongoing emergency response in Sudan and Palestine, helping provide food, medical care, shelter and essential support to families affected by conflict.

If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would truly mean a lot. Every contribution helps turn this run into something that can make a real difference, and I’m so thankful for the support along the way.

To anyone donating as an act of faith, thank you.“Whatever good you give will be repaid to you in full.” (Qur’an 2:272)
