I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in May 2024 and after an initial surgery, went through 9 weeks of chemotherapy from August-October. After getting the initial all clear in November 2024, I recently had my 6 month check up and the news remained positive.

I got really into running before all of the above happened, so set myself of a goal of running a scheduled event in 2025 as something to works towards whilst also using the opportunity to raise money for a small charity that helped me at the start of my treatment. I've never done any kind of running event before so this will be a first for me.

Cancer is not something you ever think you will have to deal with, especially at the age of 29. It's also something I thought I was done with in my life after losing my Mum to bowel cancer at the age of 16. I would appreciate if you would contribute to a great cause, however big or small your contribution.
