Story
Operation Mental Health 26 is a year-long fundraising and awareness campaign created by members of the Manx Airsoft Club in support of Isle Stand Up To Suicide.
What started as a few friends wanting to challenge themselves has quickly grown into a wider team effort bringing together people from all walks of life across the club and beyond. Different ages, different backgrounds, different fitness levels — but all united by the belief that mental health matters and that nobody should struggle alone.
Throughout 2026 our team will be taking part in a variety of physical challenges, community events, training sessions and fundraising activities designed to push us outside our comfort zones while raising both awareness and vital funds for mental health support on the Isle of Man.
Some of us are fit. Some of us definitely are not. Some are competitive, some are just here for the banter and camaraderie — but every person taking part is standing together for the same reason: to support those who may be fighting battles nobody else can see.
Airsoft has always been more than just a hobby for many of us. It is friendship, teamwork, support, routine, laughter and community. For some people, simply having a place to turn up, switch off from the pressures of life and spend time around good people can make a bigger difference than most realise.
Through Operation Mental Health 26 we hope to use that same team spirit to give something back and help support the incredible work carried out by Isle Stand Up To Suicide across our Island community.
Every donation, every share and every word of support genuinely means a huge amount to the team.
Thank you for supporting us.
