Right now, the care system isn’t working properly. Children and young people are paying the price.

We’re joining #GoRed for Become on 22 April 2026 to raise money and show care-experienced young people that they’re not alone - because a little red can make a big difference.

🔴 7 in 10 children experience a change in where they live, where they go to school, or who their social worker is every year. This disrupts their education, their relationships and impacts their mental health. We need to fix this.

🔴 1 in 3 care-experienced young people become homeless within two years of leaving care. That’s totally unacceptable. They need more support, to stop this happening.

Everything you do, no matter how small it might seem, helps to change the lives of care-experienced children and young people. It helps them get the support and advice they need today. It helps change the care system for the future.
