Story
Join Me on the Monster Dash to Support Salford!
I’m Macey Keenan, and I’ve been volunteering with Active Communities for the past two years. During this time, I’ve supported a range of sessions including art club, community events, and holiday programmes. I really enjoy helping other young people get involved in sport, creative activities, social opportunities, and I’m proud to be part of a team that makes a positive impact in the community.
I’m taking part in the Monster Dash Challenge to raise money for Active Communities, and I’d love your support! 💪
Active Communities helps people of all ages in Salford get active, stay healthy, and connect with others. From youth clubs and holiday activities to dance, sports, and community events, their programmes make a real difference.
This cause means a lot to me because I’m part of an Active Communities netball team, which helps me stay active, make new friends, and build my confidence every week. 🏐💛
For the Monster Dash, I’m challenging myself to run and walk continuously for an hour and every step will be in support of the amazing work Active Communities does.
Any donation, big or small, would mean so much. Thank you for helping make a difference! 🧡
By donating, you’ll help provide sports kits for children, fun holiday programmes, netball sessions for women and girls, dance classes for older adults, and so much more. Every pound helps bring people together, build confidence, improve wellbeing, and make Salford a stronger, healthier community.
I’m taking part on this challenge not just for the thrill, but to help more young people, families, and older residents enjoy life-changing activities. Please sponsor me and help us create a happier, more active Salford!
