As part of my Beauty With A Purpose campaign for Miss Northern Ireland 2023, I am raising money for Friends of the Cancer Centre who helped my family when my mums twin sister Laura was Diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. The Centre helped us through her treatment being especially patient as she had Downs Syndrome and didnt know she had cancer, unfortunately she past away Christmas day 2015 and still to this day those at Friends Of The Cancer Centre keep in touch with our family, holding a special place in my heart I have chose to support them in my campaign.
