This summer I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to return to Rwanda for a two-month volunteering trip, starting on July 23rd. During this time, I’ll be working alongside a charity that supports local children and communities by delivering positive change through football.

I was fortunate enough to visit Rwanda last year for two weeks, and the experience was truly life-changing. Seeing first-hand the impact football can have on confidence, education, and community spirit inspired me to go back — this time for a much longer period — to continue making a difference. Last years trip Really opened my perspective on life and I was fortunate to witness how the other half of this planet lives, it’s changed my views and goals of the future of my life.

The money raised will help the charity provide equipment, coaching, and opportunities for children to get involved in football, benefiting not only the kids but their wider communities as well.
