In Memory of Mel Fitzhenry

I am running the Leeds Half Marathon on the 11th of May in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that means so much to many, during a very difficult time.

I am taking on this challenge in memory of my auntie, a beloved mum, sister and wife Mel Fitzhenry, who sadly passed away on 14th January 2025 after a brave four-month battle with cancer.

This charity gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
