MAD RADZ fundraiser for British Liver Trust

Forth Ultra Team Relay · 20 April 2024
In April 2023, our colleague Wullie was able to receive a long-awaited liver transplant and make a gradual and successful return to our work family. The Mad Radz team felt that the upcoming Forth Ultra Relay Race provided an excellent opportunity to not only mark the first anniversary of his operation but also raise some money for the British Liver Trust with the ever-generous help of our friends, families and colleagues.
The race is a 43-mile circuit of the Firth of Forth; starting at the Kelpies it crosses the Kincardine Bridge and follows the Fife Coastal path through the historic villages of Culross and Limekilns before heading south over the Forth Road Bridge and turning westwards along the John Muir way passing Hopetoun House, Blackness castle and Bo’ness then returning to the Kelpies.
The British Liver Trust provides advice and information to patients and families, campaigns and works with healthcare professionals to improve early diagnosis and patient care, raises awareness of how to look after your liver and supports research. Thank you for your support, and please don’t forget to Gift Aid your donation if you are a UK taxpayer.
