I'm very honoured to be running the 2025 London Marathon for The Christie Charity. After losing my mother in 2016 to cancer, I felt the motivation to run this for her and whilst supporting the charity which supported her.

My mother was treated at Christies, from December 2013, under the incredible guidance of Professor Robert Hawkins, with various rounds of immunotherapy. She battled for many years, with numerous visits to Manchester, trying to fight this disease. The care she received at Christies, was outstanding, in every way, for Prof Hawkins, to the staff in the ward where she was treated. I'd like to raise funds for research and also so other people can benefit from the expert care provided by Christies Hospital.

I'm dedicating this run for her and wanted to do a significant event, to raise funds, awareness and simply remember my mother Helen Joslin.

I would be immensely grateful for any donations towards Christie's, in memory of my mother and to support Christie's to continue research and providing expert care to other families.
