Story
As if running one half marathon per month wasn't enough, I will be running the London Marathon on April 21st 2024.
For this run, instead of running for a medal, I'll be running for charity (...and the medal). My chosen charity is Alzheimer's Research UK.
Why? Because every 3 minutes, dementia steals a happily ever after and research towards it is the only thing that has the potential to slow that down. It's also a charity that I hold close to my heart, with my grandma Sheila (Sheebies) being diagnosed in 2019. And sadly, having someone close to you be diagnosed with dementia is common to a lot of people.
Your donation will help scientists and researchers find new ways to diagnose dementia, develop new treatments and one day, find a cure.
I will be posting updates on my training on this page, and I'm happy to announce that 🚨 RUNNING PARTNER JOB VACANCIES ARE NOW OPEN 🚨 (it would be doing Chris a favour).
