Story
Next year, I’m taking on a huge personal challenge walking 50 kilometres through the beautiful but demanding North Yorkshire, Scarbados to Whitby countryside to raise money for Mind, supporting better mental health and helping people who are struggling.
50K is a long way on foot. It will mean hours of walking, tired legs, sore feet, steep climbs and plenty of moments where I’ll probably be wondering why I ever thought this was a good idea! 😂
But every step will have a purpose.
Mental health affects so many people, and sometimes the people who are struggling the most are the ones who find it hardest to speak up. Mind works to provide information, advice and support to people experiencing mental health problems, while campaigning for better understanding and services.
That’s why I wanted to take on this challenge for a cause that really matters.
The views of North Yorkshire will undoubtedly make the journey worthwhile, but I know the real motivation will be knowing that every mile completed is helping raise awareness and, hopefully, some much-needed funds.
50 kilometres. One massive challenge. One important cause.
I would be incredibly grateful for any support you can give. Whether it’s a donation, sharing my fundraising page, sending some encouragement on the day, or simply following the journey it all means a lot.
No donation is too small. Every pound adds up, and together we can turn 50K of tired leggies into something genuinely positive for mental health.
Thank you for your support, it genuinely means more than you know.
