🏔️ I’m Climbing Kilimanjaro for Rowcroft Hospice
Hi, I’m Maddy – and In September 2026, I’ll be trekking to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, to raise money for Rowcroft Hospice.
This won’t be easy. It’s 5,895 metres of steep terrain, icy winds, and altitude sickness. But I’m doing it for something – and someone – bigger than myself.
Rowcroft Hospice provides specialist care, compassion, and dignity to people living with life-limiting illnesses across South Devon. They’re there not just for patients, but for their families too – offering comfort, counselling, and care when it matters most.
Like so many, I’ve seen through loved ones how vital hospice care is. When hospitals step back, Rowcroft steps in – and they do it with love.
But Rowcroft is a charity. They rely on donations to keep their doors open.
That’s why I’m asking for your support. Every pound raised will help provide pain relief, nursing, bereavement support, and home visits. Just £25 could fund an hour of care. Imagine how many hours we can provide together.
🌄 This mountain is my personal challenge – but this fundraiser is OUR shared mission.
If you’re able to give anything – big or small – thank you. If not, a share or kind word helps more than you know.
Together, let’s reach the summit – and bring real hope to families facing the hardest of days. 💜
With love and gratitude,
Maddy 😘
