Hi everyone, myself and my dad will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on the 6th April 2025, raising money for Anthony Nolan!

As a charity, Anthony Nolan conducts life saving work to match people with blood cancer and other disorders to people who are on the donor register, in order for individuals to receive stem cell transplants that can give them another chance of life.

We are fundraising for Anthony Nolan as I have personally seen the help they offer first-hand. When I came to university in 2023, I met one of my closest friends, Erin. Erin was first diagnosed with blood cancer in 2021 and has since relapsed 3 times. In May 2024, with the support of Anthony Nolan, she received a stem cell transplant which provided her with an opportunity to fight back against her cancer.

Back in April 2024, Erin, Ella and I ran a 10k for Anthony Nolan, in order to raise awareness of this amazing charity. I am now taking on the next challenge of running this half marathon - how stupid of me! - but this time, I’ve recruited my dad!
