Story

Running the Everton 10K in memory of my Dad ๐Ÿ’™

On Sunday 4th October, Iโ€™ll be taking part in the Everton 10K at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, running in memory of my lovely Dad.

As everyone knows, Everton was such a huge part of his life, and ours, so it feels incredibly special to be running around our new stadium โ€” somewhere sadly Dad never got the chance to go to.

I would love to try raise some money for the hospice that cared for Dad at the end of his life. At such an incredibly difficult time, they gave him comfort, dignity and kindness when we needed it most.

Every penny raised will help them continue providing that same care to other families going through what we did.

This run is going to be fun, emotional (and hard because I've not trained for months๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜…) but knowing Iโ€™m doing it for Dad, for our blue family and in a place that would have meant so much to him, will make every step worthwhile.

For Dad. ๐Ÿ’™

If you can spare anything at all to support the hospice, I would be so grateful. Thank you. ๐Ÿ’™

Wirral Hospice St John's relies on donations and fundraising activities to help the charity keep caring for patients and their loved ones at a time of most need. Thank you for your kind support.
