This August, I'll be taking on the Mourne Wall Walk alongside my husband and our friend Stuart to raise money for a cause that has become deeply personal to us.

Earlier this year, we lost my father-in-law, Stephen, to cancer, and we also said goodbye to my Aunt Linda recently for the same reason. Like so many families, we have experienced the heartbreak and challenges that come with serious illness and loss.

Walking in the Mournes has always been something that helps us clear our heads, find perspective, and cope with difficult times. The mountains have given us space to reflect, heal, and keep moving forward when life has felt overwhelming.

Taking on the Mourne Wall Walk feels like a fitting way to honour the people we have lost while raising funds to support others facing similar challenges. Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a difference.
