So why The Made With Love ❤️ Chicken Soup Run and why the Jeremy Sassoon MOJO concert?

My Father Ken Turner was a great lover of both music and Chicken Soup!

In fact, he was not only a recipient of The Made With Love ❤️ Chicken Soup Run he was also a big fan of Jeremy Sassoon - seeing him live in concert at least 4 times - one of which was at JW3 performing the MOJO concert that he is performing at Loughton Shul on 3rd March 2024.

And so it seemed very apt to sponsor a concert that my Dad loved in his memory - with all funds raised going to a cause that he both supported and benefited from - and that so very many other local people still benefit from weekly.

The Made With Love ❤️ Chicken Soup Run is run by a huge number of volunteers. Our volunteers arrive every Thursday to make the food and Friday to pack and deliver our 200 “GOODY BAGS” all over Essex to the elderly, disabled and unwell who are unable to shop for themselves. Those recipients that are able to will give regular donations to help pay for the food however without the additional donations we receive we CANNOT continue to deliver our amazing “GOODY BAGS” at the incredible subsidised price of £6 per person.

Every single penny enables us to purchase the nutritional food to make our delicious ’home made chicken soup’ with the best kneidlach ever! Our tasty freshly made savoury dish, our colourful fresh fruit salad, the best individual yummy cakes, and of course a challah .

A £6 donation will pay for 1 recipient for 1 week

A £24 donation will pay for 1 recipient for 1 month
