Thames Hospice is such an amazing charity that relies on charitable donations and fundraising to cover the costs of their services!

Some friends and I are taking part in the Thames Hospice Sunflower Walk this year in memory of loved ones we have lost.

Thames hospice became my family’s lifeline when my grandad became ill. Without their help, care and support he would have been unable to fulfil his final wish of staying at home surrounded by his loved ones.

We have decided to take the challenge and walk a half marathon 😮‍💨! Whilst this walk may be a challenge for us, I know firsthand what a difference the money will make to those patients and families who are facing the most difficult of challenges 💚

💚 £12 could pay for a patient’s medication for a day

💚 £25 could pay for an assisted bath helping a patient to relax

💚 £57 could pay for a bereavement call to support a family member

Every penny raised from the Sunflower walk will ensure that Thames Hospice can continue to provide compassionate care to those who need it now and in the future🌻
