Madison's fundraiser for FND Action

7 mile walk from Linwood to Lochwinnoch · 15 March 2025
Hi everyone for anyone who doesn’t know me my names Madison and I have recently been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). FND is a brain network disorder that can have symptoms including limb weakness, paralysis, seizures, walking difficulties and many more. Unlike some health conditions there is no cure or treatment for FND and it can be challenging at times. It is so important that the charities that support people with FND are equipped and able to be there for us when we need it and that’s why I am raising funds for the charity FNDaction.
I am going to be turning a very negative and challenging time into a positive by doing as much fundraising as I can to spread awareness about a condition that isn’t spoke about enough and I would appreciate anyone who is willing to support me weather that be donating some money to my gofundme for the charity or joining in on the fundraising.
My first fundraiser is going to be a walk from my home village in Linwood to a village called Lochwinnoch in total it will be a 7 mile walk.
Anyone is welcome to join the walk including people in wheelchairs and if anyone can’t do the whole walk due to health conditions you can join in at any point that is do-able for you!
FNDaction’s colour is purple so if you can wear anything purple that would be a bonus!
