Youth Lowestoft works with young people across Lowestoft between the ages of 6 and 16 years old providing opportunities and experiences to enable them to belong, contribute and thrive.

Based in Imperial House we provide youth drop in sessions covering a variety of activities with trips and residentials in the school holidays. Our allotment sessions are run from our 3 plots on Waterlane and enable young people to engage in nature and the outdoors and grow produce which can be used in the weekly cooking sessions. Two of our nurseries also bring children ages 2-5 years old to visit and enjoy the allotment space.

We have recently developed a disabled accessible plot which in addition to young people is also used by local care homes, those with a dementia and people within the community.

One to one support sees us work within local schools to provide young people with a listening ear, support and guidance in relation to challenges they are facing.
