Story

NOGLSTP established the Out to Innovate Scholarship for LGBTQ+ Students in STEM in 2010. These scholarships are intended for LGBTQ+ undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering,or mathematics (STEM) programs. The scholarships are designed to promote academic excellence and increased visibility of talented LGBTQ+ students in STEM careers.

While the majority of our scholarship fund is supported by grants from private foundations (currently Motorola Solutions Foundation, and previously Battelle Memorial Institute), we want to grow our fund so we can help more students. Every donation, large or small, furthers our campaign to encourage and support LGBTQ+ students to pursue STEM careers.
