Story
This May, I am taking part in King Of The Road, a charity ride arranged by King (the creators of Candy Crush), to raise funds for Medecins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders (MSF). My personal goal is to raise at least €1000. 🚴
Over 4 days, we will be cycling over 300 km in Avignon, France. And as an all-around nerd, this is the most difficult physical challenge I will have ever attempted. 😅
Every dollar, pound, or [insert currency here] you donate will be matched by King and go to supporting MSF in their efforts to provide medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, and disasters around the world. 💰💰
Unfortunately right now the need is very great, and I am very small, so any amount you can give would be deeply appreciated. Thank you!
- £21 can help pay for masks to resuscitate three newborn babies.
- £43 could pay for a blood pressure monitor to help detect underlying health issues
- £95 could provide antiretroviral drugs for a year for someone living with HIV/AIDS.
- £153 could buy a basic surgical kit, enabling an MSF surgeon to carry out surgery.
- £306 can pay for an emergency kit to dress 100 wounds.
(PS I'm sorry I only have unserious bike photos. 😅)
