Story

Hello all!🌟

On the 18th of May, I will be taking part in The Berlin Hyrox Competition!🏁

As some of you may know, my beautiful dad John lost his battle to cancer on the 5th of February 2025.

He passed away peacefully surrounded by our family in our home. This was made easier with the help of many including The Laois Palliative Care Team and The Irish Cancer Society. They were truly exceptional throughout and were so committed to making my dad comfortable for the last few weeks.

Did you know that The Irish Cancer Society only receive 5% of its income from the State? That remaining 95% is from donations and fundraising. Without that 95%, they wouldn’t be able to carry out their services and take care of those in need.

I’m sure you know at least one person who has been affected by cancer in some way, shape or form.

With all this being said, I would love your support in raising some money to give back to The Irish Cancer Society. All proceeds raised will go straight to them and will be used to keep supporting the magnificent cause.
