Ddydd Sadwrn 9fed Mai, bydd pum aelod dewr o dîm Maethu Cymru – Môn yn rhoi cynnig ar her newydd…abseilio i lawr Tŵr Marcwis!

I nodi Pythefnos Gofal Maeth y Rhwydwaith Gofal Maeth (sy’n cychwyn ar 11 Mai), 5 o’n tîm ni yn cymryd rhan yn yr her i godi arian i elusen Tŷ Gobaith, sy’n darparu gofal a chymorth hanfodol i blant gyda chyflyrau sy’n byrhau bywyd ynghyd â’u teuluoedd.

Bydd y pump yma’n gadael eu desgiau ac yn dringo i ben y tŵr at achos da.

Pam?

Nod Pythefnos Gofal Maeth yw codi ymwybyddiaeth ynglŷn â phwysigrwydd Gofalwyr Maeth. Drwy faethu gyda’ch awdurdod lleol gallwch helpu i gefnogi plant lleol fel y gallant barhau i fyw yn eu cymuned leol, mynychu’r un ysgol a gweld eu ffrindiau. Drwy gymryd rhan yn yr her hon, y nod yw tynnu sylw at y prinder gofalwyr maeth ar Ynys Môn a codi cymaint o arian â phosib i elusen Tŷ Gobaith, sy’n newid bywydau.

Rydym yn gobeithio codi £750

Bydd pob ceiniog yn ein helpu i gyrraedd y targed a gwneud gwahaniaeth go iawn. Bydd eich cefnogaeth yn ysbrydoli’r tîm i ddod i lawr o ben y tŵr – yn ogystal â helpu i ddarparu gofal hanfodol i’r plant a theuluoedd sydd ei angen fwyaf.

Support the Foster Wales – Anglesey Team Abseil for Ty Gobaith / Hope House

On Saturday 9th May, five brave members of the Foster Wales – Anglesey team will be stepping far outside their comfort zones… and over the edge of the Marquess of Anglesey’s Column!

To mark the start of The Fostering Network’s Foster Care Fortnight (beginning 11th May), 5 of our team will be taking on this incredible abseil challenge to raise money for Ty Gobaith / Hope House, a charity that provides vital care and support to children with life limiting conditions and their families.

These five are swapping their desks for harnesses and heights, all in the name of a fantastic cause.

Why We’re Doing This

Foster Care Fortnight is all about raising awareness of the need for foster carers. Fostering with your local authority means supporting local children, keeping them close to their schools, friends, and communities. By taking on this challenge, we hope to shine a light on the urgent need for more foster carers on Anglesey and raise as much as we can for Ty Gobaith / Hope House, whose work changes lives.

Our Fundraising Goal: £750

Every donation, big or small, will help us reach our target and make a real difference. Your support will not only cheer on our team as they descend the column—it will help provide essential care for children and families who need it most.
