Story
As a newly qualified NHS midwife, I have long admired the life-changing care that MSF provide in the places that need them most. To support this wonderful charity, I am taking part in my first Royal Parks Half Marathon this October to raise both funds and awareness.
By donating to my page you will be supporting MSF to respond quickly during an emergency, treating those most in need as quickly as possible. It also means they can respond to epidemics, conflicts, and disasters at a moment’s notice.
What your donation could do:
- £21 can help pay for masks to resuscitate three new born babies.
- £43 could pay for a blood pressure monitor to help detect underlying health issues
- £95 could provide antiretroviral drugs for a year for one person living with HIV/AIDS.
- £153 could buy a basic surgical kit, enabling an MSF surgeon to carry out surgery.
- £306 can pay for an emergency kit to dress 100 wounds.
Thank you!
Maeve :)
