Story
Welcome to my fundraising page for CoppaFeel!
Most of you know my story already.
2025 was brutal....
Sixteen rounds of chemo, surgery, Radiotherapy. Endless appointments. The kind of year that completely turns your life upside down.
What I don’t always talk about is how it started.
I found a lump because I’d started checking my chest regularly after watching a documentary about Kris Hallenga — the woman who went on to start CoppaFeel!. That documentary stuck with me. It made me aware. It made me check. And that one small habit changed everything.
Because I checked, the cancer was found.
Because it was found, I could be treated.
And because of that, I’m here.
CoppaFeel! exists to do exactly that: to make checking your chest normal, not scary, and to help people spot changes early. Early detection saves lives — I’m living proof.
This September I will set out on a challenging, extraordinary and life-changing trek, all in the name of checking chests! Along with Gi Fletcher and some other famous faces, I will embark on a life changing trek across 5 days in the Great Wall of China, in a bid to raise funds towards CoppaFeel's life-saving mission.
Before I head out to China I will don my trainers and run (or crawl) through the streets of Bath for half marathon in March. Sofia my 17-year old daughter will also run (properly) and she is also helping raise money and awareness.
Your donations will not only support my fundraising target, but most importantly CoppaFeel!. They are on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer by making sure that young people are regularly checking their boobs, pecs and chests and getting to know their bodies in order to have the confidence to see their GP if something just doesn't feel normal.
If you’re able to donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if you can’t, please take this as your reminder to check yourself and talk about it with the people you love. That matters just as much.
Thank you for supporting a charity that quite literally helped save my life.
