Story
On 10th May 2026, I’ll be taking part in the Bromsgrove Fun Run, proudly organised by the Bromsgrove and District Branch of Blood Cancer UK.
In recent years my former pupil Jodi died of blood cancer just short of her 21st birthday, I have another former teacher friend living with blood cancer and recently lost a volunteer friend. I also remember Marc as he went to a playgroup at church with my son. Too many people and far too early.
Blood Cancer UK is a passionate community dedicated to beating blood cancer through groundbreaking research and vital support for those affected. Since 1960, they’ve invested over £500 million into research, transforming treatments and saving countless lives.
But there’s still so much to do. Blood cancer is the 5th most common cancer in the UK and the 3rd biggest cancer killer. It’s also the most common cancer in children. Every donation helps fund life-saving research and support for families facing this devastating disease.
Please sponsor me and help make a difference. Together, we can beat blood cancer.
Thank you for your support!
