Story

On Nov 13th 2024 Sam was in a serious road traffic accident. He sustained life-changing injuries, including breaking both arms, both legs and a brain injury. No-one knew what kind of recovery Sam would make, if any, or whether he would regain consciousness. But less than two years later, after 10 months in hospital and having to learn to walk, eat and talk again, he is going to try and climb Helvellyn in the Lake District. We will be joined by friends, family, and some of the many people who saved his life.

The Great North Air Ambulance team were instrumental in treating Sam at the scene and getting him to hospital. They rely entirely on charitable donations. Any donation would be appreciated.
