Story
This summer, I’m taking on Snowdon — Wales’ highest mountain — in the dark. Why? To raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Charity and support MediCinema, a brilliant initiative bringing the magic of movies to hospital patients.
Alder Hey has been a huge part of my life. I’ve spent a lot of time there due to epilepsy, my Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) & my leg operation. In March, I lost the use of my legs for weeks. But I was determined to bounce back — I competed in the Air Cadets athletics competition (& won gold, at both squadron & wing level), completed my Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award, and now I’m climbing Snowdon (again).
MediCinema helps patients escape the hospital environment through film — something that means a lot when you’re stuck on a ward for days or weeks. Every donation helps bring comfort, joy, and a bit of normality to those who need it most.
Please support me if you can — every step I take up that mountain is for the kids, the families, and the moments of magic that Alder Hey and MediCinema make possible. 💙
Alongside me I'll have my funcle Nick, dad & my amazing, long suffering sister Imogen
Mags
