Our family is fundraising for Maggie’s, in particular the incredible Maggie’s Northampton, who have supported us all through one of the biggest challenges we’ve faced.

Our Dad/Mum’s husband, Mel Gwinnett, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. As our family navigates the uncertainty and challenges that come with his diagnosis and treatment, Maggie’s Northampton has been there to support us every step of the way.

Maggie’s centres are incredible places that provide a safe and welcoming sanctuary for people living with cancer, as well as their families and friends. For us, Maggie’s Northampton has become an invaluable source of support, somewhere we can go for advice, a listening ear, a cup of tea or simply a place to take a breath when everything feels overwhelming.

Because of the support they have given our family, my mum, sister and I have decided to take part in the 10k for Maggie’s. We want to raise money for these incredible centres so that other families facing the devastating impact of cancer can have access to the same support that has meant so much to us.
