Support Wayne and Solomon's London to Brighton Cycle Challenge

Sarah Pratt is raising money for Barchester's Charitable Foundation

London to Brighton Cycle Ride 2026 · 13 September 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

Barchester’s Charitable Foundation is a registered charity that helps older people as well as working age adults with a learning or physical disability or mental health issue across England, Scotland & Wales. Our focus is about connecting or re-connecting people with others in their local community. We give grants to help reduce isolation and loneliness, promote group activities and generally improve people’s mobility and quality of life. We aim to give grants that will help people lead more fulfilled lives and reach their full potential.

Story

On Sunday 13th September, Wayne Hughes, Senior General Manager, and Solomon Imafidon, Care Practitioner, from Magnolia Court Care Home in Child's Hill, Hampstead, will be taking on the London to Brighton Cycle Ride to raise funds for the Barchester Charitable Foundation.

The Barchester Charitable Foundation is a cause that is very close to our hearts. It helps older people and adults with disabilities by providing grants that fund specialist equipment, memorable experiences, outings and activities that improve wellbeing and reduce loneliness.

Every mile Wayne and Solomon cycle is dedicated to making a positive difference to the lives of those who need it most. They've committed to the challenge knowing that every donation, no matter how big or small, will help the Foundation continue its incredible work.

If you're able to support them, we would be hugely grateful. Your generosity will help bring comfort, independence, happiness and life-enhancing opportunities to older and vulnerable people across the UK.

Thank you for supporting Wayne and Solomon on this challenge, and for helping the Barchester Charitable Foundation continue to make a real difference.

Every donation and every message of encouragement means the world.
