🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Walking in Memory of Baby Ivar ❤️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This September, I’ll be taking part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House, in memory of a very special little boy — Baby Ivar. ❤️

My teammate Emma and her partner Owen spent time at Ronald McDonald House while their precious baby Ivar was being cared for at the Sick Children’s Hospital.

During an unimaginably difficult time, Ronald McDonald House gave Emma and Owen somewhere they could stay close to their baby — a place of comfort, kindness and support when they needed it most.

Sadly, Baby Ivar lost his fight. 💔

So this Kiltwalk means so much more than simply crossing the finish line.

We want to raise enough money to sponsor a room at Ronald McDonald House in Baby Ivar’s name. ❤️

A room that will help another family stay close to their seriously ill child when every minute together matters.

It would be a wonderful and lasting tribute to Baby Ivar, while giving something back to the charity that was there for Emma and Owen when they needed them.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help us towards our goal.
