Mags Lewis is raising money for Wales Air Ambulance Charitable Trust

Walk Wales with James Hook virtual challenge · 1 June 2025 to 30 June 2025 ·

Walk, jog or run 60 miles through the month of June to support Wales Air Ambulance

Story

I am taking part in Walk Wales with James Hook virtual challenge.

I will be walking 150 miles through June to support Wales Air Ambulance Charity with my walking buddy Julie Rumbelow.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, life had become somewhat stagnant and a massive change was needed. I signed up with Adam Thomas of Burn It Fitness, Llanelli, and haven't looked back. Great friendships made and feeling 100% better. Walking has become a big part of my life so I thought I'd raise money while clocking up the miles.

I have been very fortunate not to have needed the services of the Air Ambulance but you never know what's round the corner. So the roads of Pembs are going to be hit hard as well as the coast path around Llanelli.

Any donations will be very gratefully accepted. No target as every penny is a bonus.

Diolch am ddarllen. Thank you for reading.

Every year they need to raise £11.2m to keep the helicopters in the sky and rapid response vehicles on the road. The teams onboard, deliver advance critical care to patients across Wales 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
