Maia's fundraiser for Girl Scouts In The Heart Of Pennsylvania

I am going to build an accessible pollinator garden by the Tunkhannock Primary Center to teach students about nature.
My name is Maia Montross and I am a Girl Scout of eleven years as well as a sophomore at Tunkhannock Area High School, currently working on my Gold Award project. For my project, I am planning to put a garden full of native plants in front of the Tunkhannock Primary Center as an opportunity for students to learn about and connect with nature. Other than recess, students do not have an easy way to get outside and learn about their surroundings and the beauty of nature, and this project should help remedy that. I also hope to make this garden wheelchair accessible so every student can enjoy it. I plan to build the garden beds in late April and have everything planted in May. This garden, when completed, will give students ways to learn about and interact with their environment, and will teach them to value and take care of it.
In order for this project to succeed, I will need help from our community, because this cannot happen without donations from people like you! Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page to support me and this project. Any donation is greatly appreciated, so thank you!
