We rescue, rehabilitate, & rehome any domestic animal in need. From hamsters to horses, we will do our best to help where ever we can. We help rebuild a future for them and always endeavour to find them forever homes.

Story

Greenacres Animal Rescue is a cause very close to my heart. I've been volunteering with them for around 15 years as a fosterer and home checker so I've witnessed first hand how they save the lives of hundreds of animals a year from heart-breaking circumstances. They also enhance the lives of countless people too by being available to offer support during tragic life events and by providing a local rescue centre where you can adopt your next furry friend.

I am going to walk the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, 186 miles, starting on the 21st of March. I will be joined by my gorgeous girl, Dixie, who came to me on foster at the start of the first covid lockdown and has never left. She found herself at Greenacres Animal Rescue as a stray who was never claimed and I've had the pleasure of her company ever since. As you know, I'm not a very exercise-y kind of person so this will be quite an endurance challenge for a desk dweller like me!

An organisation like Greenacres takes a lot of compassion, patience and hard work to run and, alongside caring for the animals, a lot of energy has to go into raising funds in order to keep the centre running. Anything you can donate will help save the life of the next helpless little soul.

(p.s. please adopt, don't shop!)
