Mairead and Ailbhe are taking part in the Walk for Children's Diabetes event on Saturday 23rd September 2023. The Crumlin Diabetes Centre became a very important part of our lives 14 years ago, when at age 2, Ailbhe was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes

To support fundraising for the Walk, Mairead and Brian will Kayak along the Grand Canal from Ballyteague to Rathangan on August 7th!

All funds raised this year will support the Diabetes Center in CHI at Crumlin and will help fund the cost of many projects, such as; a Fulltime Diabetes Nurse Specialist , a Data manager , vital medical equipment for the centre, Summer Camps for both patients and their families , a Porta cabin , many Educational seminars for parents of newly diagnosed children and so much more.
