This year, I’m fundraising for Days for Girls UK by running the Edinburgh Marathon, helping to support their work providing sustainable menstrual products and vital health education so that girls and women can manage their periods with dignity, without missing school or opportunities. I was informed about the charity by my amazing university friend Nia, whose mum founded the UK team for Days for Girls, and her commitment to ensuring girls are educated, confident, and proud of what their bodies can do is truly uplifting. Every mile I run is for a future where periods don’t mean stigma, shame, or lost days of learning, and where practical, reusable kits and community-led education make a real, lasting difference. I’m training hard for race day and fundraising along the way, and I’d be so grateful for any support, whether that’s a donation, sharing my page, or cheering me on as I run for girls’ health, confidence, and equality.
