In Loving Memory of Alexander Graeme Yule, A Beloved Husband, Father, Father-in-Law, Son, Grandpa, Brother, Friend and Doctor.

On Sunday 8th June 2025, Graeme passed away suddenly following a cardiac arrest.

He was many things - compassionate, dedicated, steadfast, selfless and absolutely hilarious - but more than anything, he was the heart of our family and the community. His sudden passing from a heart attack was a devastating shock.

To honour his memory and to continue saving lives - as Graeme did for over 30 years as a devoted doctor - we want to help others by supporting Calon Hearts UK.

Less than one in ten people will survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. But survival rates can be increased significantly if a Defibrillator is used and CPR is performed.

Calon Hearts UK have made it their mission to ensure communities all over Wales have access to defibrillators and are trained in how to use them.

Calon Hearts also provides vital heart screenings across Wales, helping to identify conditions that too often go undetected until it’s too late. Their mission is simple and powerful: to save lives in Wales.
