Story
To celebrate turning 65 this November, I’ve set myself a 650 Challenge. In the 6 months from June to November I will walk, hill-walk, cycle or run 650 miles, and I'll tick off at least 6 Scottish Munros I’ve not climbed before - scaling over 18,000 feet in total!
On Sunday 11th August my daughter Nicola and grandson Max will join my fundraising efforts by walking with me on the Dundee Kiltwalk Wee Wander.
My adventures will take me from Carnoustie to places like Braemar, Skye and Orkney.
I’m doing this to raise funds for Cruse Scotland (Bereavement Support), a fantastic charity which offers specialist bereavement support to children and adults in Scotland. Please donate what you can to raise funds for this great cause.
1 in 5 people struggle to cope with their grief following the death of a loved one and require additional support.
Cruse Scotland offer hope when the future seems empty. They provide free specialist bereavement listening and counselling services, so that those needing support receive the right help at the right time, building resilience and improving wellbeing.
