Story
On 20th March, we will be taking part in a charity fire walk in support of Michael Sobell House, supported by Harlington Hospice.
This hospice means a great deal to our family. In 2017, Michael Sobell cared for our beloved dad, grandad, and friend, Dave Allen, during his battle with oesophageal cancer.
He was a truly wonderful man - so full of life - and losing him was incredibly difficult for all of us. The team at Michael Sobell gave him dignity, comfort, and compassion in his final moments, and supported our family through one of the hardest times we have ever faced.
Michael Sobell House is there for people in the community living with serious or terminal illness, as well as their families and friends. They believe that everyone who comes to them should be supported to live each day in their own way, to the fullest. Their expert teams take great care to truly get to know each person, offering comfort and support through even the most overwhelming times.
We wanted to do something together to give back and help raise funds so they can continue providing this extraordinary care to so many others.
We are hoping to raise £500, and any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support and for helping us honour his memory ❤️
