I have decided to run my first ever half marathon for the amazing organisation that is Sutton Schoolswork.

Sutton Schoolswork is a Christian charity who have the privilege of working with approx. 39 of the 45 Primary Schools & 7 of the 15 Secondary Schools in the London Borough of Sutton. I also have the privilege of working for this charity as their Primary Schoolswork Lead and I see firsthand every single day the work that they do in schools.

Sutton Schoolswork is passionate about supporting the pupils in Sutton to understand and explore Christianity and to develop spiritually, morally and socially. They do this through a wide selection of assemblies, lessons and workshops, all provided to schools for a subsidised cost, if not FREE.

As someone who came from a non-Church-attending family, I remember Sutton Schoolswork coming into my primary school and telling me all about Jesus and how much He loves me. Seeds were planted that later flourished into becoming a Christian in my late teens. Giving my life to Jesus was transformational!

I am passionate about the children and young people of Sutton and beyond having the opportunity to find out more about who Jesus is and how loved they are by Him.
