Story
Hi everyone 🤍
In March, I’ll be taking on HYROX Glasgow — a challenge that will push me far beyond my physical limits, but one that means so much more than the race itself. This event is my way of honouring and remembering the people I love who have been taken by cancer.
Cancer has touched my life far too many times. I’ve seen its impact on family and close friends, and I sadly lost both of my grandpas to this disease. Their strength, courage, and memory are what drive me forward, which is why I’ve chosen to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support — a charity that holds a very special place in my heart and one that so many of us can relate to in some way.
Macmillan provides vital support to people living with cancer at their most vulnerable moments. Raising £400 could fund a Macmillan Support Worker for an entire month, offering guidance, reassurance, and care when it’s needed most. It could also help produce 400 copies of The Cancer Guide, giving those newly diagnosed clarity, comfort, and hope during an incredibly overwhelming time.
Every kilometre I run and every weight I lift is for those we’ve lost, those still fighting, and those who need support right now. Thank you so much for reading, supporting, and helping me turn this challenge into something truly meaningful. 💚
