Story
2 in 3 of us will become carers at some point in our lives. Sometimes it's overnight through sudden illness or injury, or a gradual process as someone's health deteriorates - it can be a lifetime commitment. Being a carer can lead to isolation and frustration and result in ill-health.
Many carers don't seek help until they're at breaking point. That's why Newcastle Carers is there to support carers when they need it most—when they feel lost and don’t know where to turn next. Newcastle Carers is a local charity providing carers of all ages (some children as young as five) a safe space to feel informed, supported and connected.
On 1st November, I'll be jumping from 10,000ft to fundraise for Newcastle Carers!
Your donation helps Newcastle Carers reach and support carers of all ages sooner, offering free, confidential, and non-judgemental support so they can find ways to make their situation easier to manage.
Every penny raised stays local in Newcastle, directly reaching and benefiting local unpaid carers.
